Bernard Moreau’s son, Alex, now spearheads the winemaking at the former Bernard Moreau, and continue to support the estate’s ‘hands off’ mentality. Their Chassagne-Montrachet is classically elegant. Elegant and precise, the wine shows flavors of lemon cream, crushed stones, honeycomb, fresh pastry dough, and salt -- think Chevenottes meets Vergers.
