Former motorcycle mechanic turned vigneron, Pierre Cotton’s holdings now cover 5 hectares across some of Beaujolais’ most prestigious growing sites. Fruit for ‘Le Pré’ comes from an organically farmed 0.8 hectare plot, semi-carbonically macerated in concrete and aged six months in used oak. The final wine is juicy and textured, with zippy acidity and structured backbone. Only 180 cases produced.
