Tajinaste is headed by Agustin Garcia Farrais and is named for an indigenous flower grown on Tenerife. The winery was founded by Agustin’s grandfather and is comprised of three small hectares of 100-year-old vines, though the family rents/purchases an additional 28 hectares of fruit. Fruit for this crisp Listan Blanco is hand-harvested and vinified in steel tanks, followed by aging in steel/oak. The wine shows flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, and wet rocks. A delicious aperitif!
