Claudio Fenocchio's Barolos are sourced from a small parcel outside of the Bussia and come from 20-year-old vines in clay, calcareous marl, and sandy soils. Their intensity, sincerity, and adherence to a large boti tradition (in the age of smaller french casques) sets his wines apart from the herd. Richness, boisterous tannin, and a explosion of balanced fresh red fruit makes this wine incredible to enjoy in its youth; however, these markers suggest its ability to age exceptionally for decades to come.
