Chateau de Bonnezeaux’s rich history dates back to the 19th century, though it wasn’t until 2012, when Guyonne Saclier de Batie and Mark Angeli began reworking the soils, producing high quality Chenin from four hectares of vines. Fruit for ‘La Montagne’ comes two different plots, 40 and 70 years in age, vinified bone-dry. Stony and crisp, with zesty acidity, fruit-forwardness, and a crazy food-friendly nature.
