Laura Lorenzo is a gentle hand holding the culture, soil, and environment of the rugged Ribeira Sacra region of Galicia — a diverse yet sparse environment knitted by both terraced vineyards and old bush-trained vines. Her wine is a translation of this setting through farming that Laura describes as “agro-ecology with minimal impact.”
'Portela do Vento' blanco is a blend of native white varieties, harvested by hand and bottled without fining or filtration. This is described as a “mountain white” that delivers a satisfying balance of stony minerality and zippy acidity. The fresh orchard fruit notes offer a satisfying midpalate and finish that pairs well with grilled chicken, fresh seafood, and seasoned rice dishes.
