‘Docil’ is made from highly aromatic Loureiro grown in granitic soils. The wine shows crisp and citrus-driven flavors marked by mineral-laced acidity and striking structure. Dirk Niepoort represents the fifth-generation at his family’s namesake estate, which was originally founded in 1842. He vinifies 11 wines alongside his sister using traditional winemaking techniques.
