Julien Haart has become one of the Mosel’s most detail-oriented and meticulous wine growers, creating energetic wines, full of sharp, lightning-like acidity. Haart farms several small plots of old, ungrafted vines, ranging up to 100 years old, creating Keller-inspired wines from low yields of fruit. The 2017 ‘Piesporter’ is bright & lively, with vibrants notes of tart pear, citrus, and flinty minerality. Racy & dry; great with sushi or salads.
