One of Chassagne's best producers, the family-run domaine now led by Michel's son-in-law Michel Coutoux, currently produces wine from two handfuls of appellations, ranging from Bourgogne to Premier to Grand Crus. Meticulous work in the vineyard, which is handled only by family members, has earned the domaine a prestigious reputation. Perfumed aromatics and notes of white-fleshed fruit and citrus offer a balanced palate and a chalky, mineral finish.
