Known for its Kimmeridgian soils and significantly cooler climates, Chablis produces Burgundian Chardonnay unlike any other appellation of the region. With 21 hectares and abundant single vineyard cuvées, Roland Lavantureaux has made a name for himself as one of the region’s most interesting producers. Fruit for ‘Vauprin’ comes from one of Chablis’ highest altitude areas. Must ferments in stainless steel, followed by aging in both barrel and stainless steel, bringing texture and complexity to the wine.
