Terry and Frances Leighton have quietly crafted some of California’s most singular wines at Kalin Cellars since the 1970s, blending scientific precision with old-world sensibility. Making wines built for the long haul.  

From the Long Vineyard on the western end of the Dry Creek Valley in central Sonoma County. It is planted with the original Wente Clones of Chardonnay that hail back to the cuttings John Wente took from Louis Latour’s parcel in Corton-Charlemagne.

This library release is not your average California Chardonnay: richly textured, wildly complex, and bracingly fresh, it’s built for the table—think roast chicken, aged cheeses, and mushroom-laced dishes.
