Founded in 2004 by Piero Incisa, Chacra’s mission is to express the unique microclimates of Rio Negro using organic farming and biodynamic principles to create clean, pure wines. Their Pinot Noir grows in sandy limestone soils; ‘Barda’ ferments with native yeasts in cement takes, bottled unfiltered. The final wine shows juicy notes of plum and ripe berries, with earthy, cedar undertones giving way to a spicy, savory finish.
