Tiro al Blanco is a new project from Matías Michelini in the D.O. Ribeiro. 'A'Rocha' is a field blend of Albariño, Treixadura, Godello and Loureira, this comes from the A'Rocha vineyard, which is characterized by the presence of huge granite boulders. The soil has the classic Ribeiro profile of decomposed granite, similar to what can be found in the privileged zones of Rías Baixas. The wine fermented spontaneously with native yeast in clay amphorae, where it remained on the lees for two winters before bottling. Lush and full but still light on it's feet this wine is extremely food friendly!
