Dirk Niepoort represents the fifth-generation at his family’s namesake estate, which was originally founded in 1842. He vinifies 11 wines alongside his sister Verena, highlighting modern marketing approaches alongside traditional winemaking techniques. ‘Coche’ is an exotic and aromatic white field blend, vinified from a slew of indigenous Portuguese varieties. The wine is bright and textured, showing flavors of stone fruit, wet stones, & citrus.
