Emmanuel Rouget trained under his famed uncle, Henri Jayer, eventually taking over winemaking duties in the mid 80s. This blend of pinot noir and gamay is aged in 50% new oak with the balance being 1 year old. All the grapes at Emmanuel Rouget are destemmed and enjoy cold soak maceration before fermentation in concrete vats.
