The Role

We’re looking for a customer-obsessed, creative, and entrepreneurial marketer to help us become the premier retailer in the country for handcrafted and limited production wine. As the Marketing Director, you’ll be responsible for shaping the evolution of our brand, expanding on our content framework, and driving growth through engaging, customer-focused campaigns and activations.

Reporting directly to and working closely with the COO, this leadership position will oversee our tight internal marketing team, consisting of an Email Marketing Manager and Copywriter as well as external consultants and design and photography freelancers. This is a great opportunity for a scrappy and talented marketer looking to step up and make an outsized impact.


Responsibilities

  • Champion how the brand comes to light at every touchpoint, working collaboratively across the company to ensure internal brand alignment and external brand resonance.
    • Own and enhance the content calendar for all channels including social, email, sms, e-commerce, and in-store.
    • Run social, run the brand. Work to align brand voice and tone to content deployment, leveraging engagement from current followers and going after new. Launch channels when strategy and resources dictate.
    • Take an omni-channel approach, connecting the digital brand to in person experiences and activations in all locations (travel required).
    • Oversee fine tuning of brand guidelines and continue to develop the brand
    • Ideate, plan, and deploy creative campaigns in conjunction with data-driven insights on customer behavior and product performance.
    • Deepen and improve community, leveraging CRM, in-store activations, and more.
    • Drive and execute partnerships and collaborations to broaden audience and reach and strengthen brand perception

    Requirements

    • 5-7 years of experience in brand marketing, including social media management
    • E-commerce and retail experience preferred
    • Understanding of omnichannel marketing landscape
    • Portfolio of past campaigns that showcase creativity and performance
    • Mastery of content planning and workflow software such as Airtable and Asana
