Founded in 1972, Milena and Aldo Vajra created their namesake estate to bottle juice formerly sold to negociants for the first time in 1978. Today, the estate comprises 40 hectares of fruit, which macerate extensively and age in Slavonian casks. ‘Albe’ Barolo shows gorgeous aromatics of rose petal, strawberry, and spice, mixing on the palate with flavors of leather and tar. Structured, balanced, and age-worthy; drink over the next decade.
