Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family, situated on the top of the hill of Rosazzo in Friuli. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. We love the Sauvignon Blanc lineup from this producer, with such a range of single-vineyard bottlings. This one comes from old vines and offers wafting orchard aromatics refined fruit. We're pouring it with herbal roasted chicken and a side of baby potatoes.
