After ten years of making wine at Niepoort, Luis Seabra ventured out on his own, determined to break stereotypical ideas of Douro Valley wines. ‘Xisto’ is a range of wines that highlight the unique single-vineyard growing sites of the region. ‘Xisto Cru’ is a field blend of indigenous white grape varieties that spontaneously ferments and is vinified in oak. Notes of juicy stone fruit, wet rocks, citrus zest, and white pepper dominate the palate.
