Eyrie Vineyards is one of the most influential wineries in all of Oregon. The estate was originally founded in 1966 by David Lett, who was the first to plant Pinot Noir & Chardonnay in the Willamette (and the first to plant Pinot Gris in the USA!) Fruit for this fleshy wine ferments with native yeasts and is farmed biodynamically, followed by fermentation in steel and aging in steel/oak. Notes of apple, green melon, and juicy peach dominate.
