This Chambolle-Musigny from Perrot-Minot errs on the dense and concentrated side for the appellation. Notes of cherry liqueur, strawberry jam, rose hips, blood orange, and sweet spice mesh with fine-grained tannins to create a grippy yet pleasant finish. 40% of the fruit used in this cuvée comes from the 1er Cru site of La Combe d’Orveau. We’d give the wine a few more years to settle into itself.
