Chateau Yvonne was first founded by monks in the 1500s, resuscitated to life by Jean-Francois and Yvonne Lamunière 500 years later. Today, Matthieu Vallée farms the estate’s 11 hectares, organically & biodynamically, with a hands off-mentality implemented in the cellar. The 2015 Saumur-Champigny is spicy and earth-driven, full of herbaceous red fruit flavors and marked minerality. Serve with a slight chill and be ready to drink the whole bottle!
