As much as we love the fresh new faces of Beaujolais, paying homage to the greats is equally important. Jean-Louis Dutraive is an absolute legend within the region. His estate, Domaine de la Grand’Cour, has been around since 1969, making it one of the oldest wineries in all of Fleurie. Jean-Louis is a bona fide expert in site-specific farming and produces insanely terroir-reflective wines that are equally drinkable in their youth or old age.
