Founded by Ian Brand of Le P’tit Paysan, La Marea focuses on single-vineyard California wines produced from indidgenous Spanish varieties. Cool breezes from Monterey Bay and limestone soils create naturally high acidity in fruit, leading to crisp, top-quality wines. Fruit for ‘Kristy’ comes from a mineral-rich vineyard next to the Salinas River, leading to a sea-influenced wine loaded with flavors of tart apple, zesty citrus, & coarse sea salt.
