This second vintage from Joseph Colin is one for the books. ‘En Cailleret’ is loaded with flavors of fleshy peach, yellow apple, brioche, and baking spice. The wine’d medium to full-bodied palate is taut, tense, and complex. Joseph picks fruit early, vinifies his juice in large-format oak, and doesn’t implement batonnage. 2018 was the first vintage that he did not filter his wines.
