Regarded as Piedmont’s greatest producer of Barolo, Giacomo Conterno founded the estate in the early 20th century, producing world class Nebbiolo from 16 hectares in Serralunga d’Alba. This varietal Barbera comes from ‘Cerretta's’ 20 year old vines rooted in clay soils. The wine is fruit-forward and silky, with notes of earth spice, cranberries, and smoke. Great on the table, especially with Italian cuisine!
