Now with 20 years of age on it, this ‘special cuvée’ from Tempier is ready to rock. Brick-hued in the glass, this tangy, medium-bodied juice is loaded with flavors of stewed red fruits, dark cherry skin, mushrooms, leather, and smoke. Tannins have mellowed out and bright acidity is still there, though we’d drink this juice sooner rather than later.
