Tertiary flavors of stewed red fruits, green bell peppers, mushroom, and tobacco leaf dominate this energetic and thought-provoking wine. La Charpentrie is home to Collier’s oldest vines (100+ years), which now produce very small amounts of concentrated and high-quality fruit. This is varietal Cabernet Franc in one of its most complex forms.
