Founded in 2006, Charly Thevenet, son of infamous ‘Gang of Four’ member, Jean-Paul, creates his wines with the same hands-off mentality as his father, crafting wines from 80 year old vines in Régnié. ‘Grain & Granit’ is whole cluster fermented and vinified in cement; the 2011 is developing gorgeously, showing notes of red fruit, herbs, wet earth, and stones. Serve alongside the 2016 for a seriously interesting vertical!
