This unctuous Chassagne-Montrachet is elegant, round, and marked by rich flavors of yellow stone fruit, peach skin, citrus, lemon cream, and sweet spice. Great with a variety of foods, especially poultry and rich seafood dishes. Bernard Moreau’s two sons Alex and Benoit now spearhead the winemaking at this eponymous estate. They continue to support their father’s ‘hands off’ mentality in the cellar and create personality-driven wines loaded with flavor.
