Fruit for this biodynamically-farmed Chardonnay comes from vines planted in 1902, and the cuvée is named after Jean-Francois’ grandmother. Plush flavors of juicy yellow fruit, baked apples, lemon zest, and crushed rocks lead to a lasting finish. (Note: This variety of Chardonnay is locally referred to as ‘Melon Queue Rouge’ (red-tailed), which refers to the grapes’ tinted stems.)
