This lees-aged Chardonnay from Saint-Aubin is rich, textured, and balanced by zesty acidity. Fruit comes from a .12-hectare plot of vines rooted in clay-limestone soils. Post hand-harvest, fruit is pressed and vinified in barrel sur-lie for 20-23 months. Bottled unfined/unfiltered. Notes of tart stone fruit, apple skin, flint, and lemon zest burst from the wine’s lively palate. This stuff is seriously good.
